Hair Dye on EyeBrows????

Yes yes, I've heard that putting hair dye on eyebrows is unsafe, but I've also noticed many people do it anyway.

Similar to putting Q-Tips in your ear... The Box says no, but 80% of people do it.

Can ANYONE recommend a brand that would be best suited for attempting to Dye your eyebrows????

I've heard to use cream dyes and something low volume... but I have no idea what I am talking about or looking for.

Any Recommendations?

I have VERY light blond/white eyebrows.

I've had them done in the salon (they made them hideously too dark), and I've looked into the tints.

Can anyone recommend a particular type/brand?

And maybe perhaps a specific technique???

Thanks

Hair Dye on EyeBrows????

Honestly... its not something I would do myself. I have mine done at a salon when I get my hair dyed. I don't trust myself enough to do it at home.

Hair Dye on EyeBrows????

I usually use henna (brown) - if you don't leave it on for too long, you get a lighter shade. But if you have very light eyebrows, perhaps it would be easier and safer for you to use an eyebrow pencil?

Plz dont do it by yourself. Its DANGEROUS. Try to get it done at the saloon if its impt for u

Hair Dye on EyeBrows????

I don't know of a certain brand, but I would suggest checking out a beauty supply store such as Sally. One of the associates in there should be able to reccomend something for you. If you do decide to do it yourself, I suggest rubbing in some Vaseline in the area around the brow with a Q-Tip so that your skin does not become stained and so that it is less likely to drip in your eye. It would also probably be better to have a friend do it for you so that you can remain laying down while it sets. Another, safer less permanent alternative would be using a brow pencil or one of the brow powders that Benefit sells. That would work really well at darkening such a light eyebrow.

Hair Dye on EyeBrows????

Thats a tricky question. . I am a hair stylist and i wouldn't reccomend coloring your own eyebrows unless you have a color that is specifically for eyebrows. Hair that is very light/ white has little or no pigment, thus making it very difficult to successfully color them in a natural shade.

Im sorry this answer probably wasn't what you were looking for. If you do decide to give it a go at home, have someone help you. cover you eyes with a damp towel and apply the color very carefully! Make sure to test the color on your skin before you do your brows to make sure you wont have a bad reaction. The skin around the eye is very delicate. Try going to a beauty supply store like Sally's to buy a color. DONT use anything from a grocery store!!!!

Good luck
