I can't use hair dye. :( bad experiance. I have fake red hair and I want black. NO KOOL AID!!!!! It damages your hair SOOOOOO bad. I need help. hair stylists are recomended but I need help all around

You're not going to change your hair without some sort of dye. It's possible to go with some more natural types of dye such as henna which will be less damaging, however you're not going to be able to darken your hair without some sort of dye.

Well I dont think you can even consinder koolaide as an option b/c...theres no black flavor. I really dont think you are going to get desired results unless you use the dye...try using a silicon based dye like Satin. thats what I use and my hair feels softer afterwords than before I dyed it.

yes it is true that kool ade can damage your hair but there is a way that you can do so without damageing. mix 2 packets of koolade with about 2 quarter size drops of conditioner. completely cover hair then put plastic wrap around your head and let it sit overnight. this is'nt damageing for your hair because if conditioner sits that long, it's actually really healthy for your hair. however i don't know if there is a black koolade mix, so there is another way. mix some food coloring with any amount of shampoo. (the less shampoo the brighter it will be) scrub in your wet hair and let it sit for 10-15 minutes.then wash out. when you dry your hair it should be black. you can get it out with lemon juice

you can't. and you can us hair color you just choose not to because of a bad experiance. color is the only way to get black hair. if you just want the red out go to sally beauty supply and get the ion gel treatment (in a packet and add warm water) and this should strip out the red and not damage you hair at all.

don't use kool aid or food coloring. someone suggested henna but most hennas are red, you would have to use a color of some type to get black. Try a semi permanent (no ammonia) color, it may not cause scalp irritation. If the Ion treatment from sally's is a color stripper then yes it is going to cause damage to your hair. Anything that is a "color remover" is going to be harsh. If you had a "bad experience" like an allergic reaction you may need to see a stylist to do some allergy tests! Good luck!
